Today we had our very first assembly. We all got together in the drama space in the Gym this morning, singing the National Athem that we have been practicing during Music. Our first Learner of the Weeks were presented along with 4 Citizen awards for students who display our School values - Personal Best, Honesty, Belonging & Respect. The students who received these awards are in the picture above. We are looking forward to more assemblies and the chance to share our celebrations with our families.Monday, February 11, 2008
Our First Prep - Year 4 Assembly

I thought the first assembly was terrific. It was great to hear everyone singing Advance Australia Fair. With some more practice particularly the second verse we will be awesome. Congratulations to all award winners this week.

Great blog 1/2's! You look like you have all been so busy since the beginning of the year. It has been great catching up with you all since the holiday break too - you have all grown up so much!

It is great to see that asembly has started for this year. it gives us important information and my kids love me attending. The awards are great and encourages other children to acheive them. The children feel very special when they are standing up front, accepting their award.
